Transporting “Dangerous Goods” requires a specialised skill set and a legal qualification known as an ADR Vocational Training Certificate. This qualification is mandatory for drivers of vehicles carrying hazardous substances in packages or tanks. Holding an ADR card not only keeps you compliant but significantly increases your earning potential and employability within the logistics sector.

The Core Module: The fundamental legal requirements and safety duties for all drivers.
Packages & Bulk: Specific training for carrying dangerous goods in containers, sacks, or drums.
Tankers Module: Specialist training for drivers of fixed tanks or tank-containers.
Hazardous Classes: We cover Class 2 (Gases), Class 3 (Flammable Liquids), Class 4 (Flammable Solids), Class 5 (Oxidizing Substances), Class 6 (Toxic Substances), Class 8 (Corrosives), and Class 9 (Miscellaneous).
Training is delivered by SQA-approved instructors. At the end of the course, drivers sit a series of multiple-choice exams. Once passed, your ADR card is valid for five years. We offer both “Initial” courses for new drivers and “Refresher” courses for those needing to renew their license before it expires.
